Established in 1990 as Meridian Institute of Healing Arts, the name was changed in 1999 to Yamuni Institute of Healing Arts.  Yamuni Institute of Healing Arts LLC is an educational institution operating for the benefit of humanity in advocating and promoting natural medicines and bionutrition worldwide.

Yamuni Institute of Healing Arts was established under the World Health Organization (WHO) Declaration of Alma-Alta, USSR, September 1978 to advocate health as a basic human right.

Yamuni Institute of Healings Arts LLC is a Professional Educational Membership Organization and is exempt from state registration and regulation.

Yamuni Institute of Healing Arts advocates and facilitates learning, qualification, certification and degree status in natural and traditional medical modalities and bionutrition in affiliation with universities, colleges, research centers, hospitals, professional organizations, government and non-government organizations.
